Alright, let’s get through the rest of this trip, because I’ve got so much else to tell all 15 of you about! We left Kilkenny, and headed straight for Powerscourt House and Gardens. This was a continuation of our “We’re actually the landowners” tour, only because we felt oh so posh being there.
If you’d like the history of the house and gardens, you can google it. You’ve got a laptop/smartphone. I believe in you. You’ve got this.
After spending a wonderful afternoon in the gardens, we made our way into the capital city of Dublin. Dublin has begun to grow on me a little bit, as much as I seem like I hate it. While it’s rather gray and extremely touristy along the River Liffey, it does have its wonderful charms when the bridges light up and the town comes alive.
It’s also this walk along the river that makes you quite the philosopher and deep thinker. Christiana and I had that deep talk of what our futures hold for us along this river, as we peacefully strolled passed bridge after bridge.
